Rebranding
To 'animate' means to 'bring to life' – a principle we embraced while rebranding
Studio Zmei, a leading Bulgarian 2D animation studio.
Drawing inspiration from their namesake and mascot—a red zmei (in Bulgarian folklore, it's a mystical, colourful snake-like flying creature, believed to be a spirit of the storms and clouds, and a protector from hail and drought) – we approached the task with the studio's rich portfolio in mind.
We aimed to create a symbol/mascot that would become the charming face of their beautiful and highly professional work.
